SLOW COOKER BUFFALO CHICKEN (DIP)


Intro: While this recipe is inspired by buffalo chicken dip, it is designed to be consumed as the main component of any entree, the star of the show if you will... but that's not to say that you cannot dip this ridiculously high protein meal option into your favorite low fat chip! That is, if you dare! This recipe is so simple to prepare and so delicious, you'd be crazy to not try it at least once! But be careful, you might get hooked!


Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 4 hours

Servings: 2-4

Level: Beginner


Ingredients:

  1. 1lb boneless skinless chicken breast

  2. 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

  3. 1/2 cup Franks buffalo sauce

  4. 1 tbsp dried parsley


Directions:

  1. Blend the cottage cheese and buffalo sauce in a blender, then add to slow cooker

  2. Add chicken breast and parsley

  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours

  4. Shred the chicken with a hand mixer and serve!
