The best part of attending an event in LA is not the event itself, but rather the savory and familiar treat that follows. We've all been there...and probably while a little drunk! Oops! I present a low calorie alternative to everybody's favorite drunken snack, the LA street dog! Yes, that's right. I have figured out a way to bring this yummy and delicious treat to your kitchen table while on a diet... and its goooooood!!!

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Servings: 1 dog

Level: Beginner

  1. 1 Hebrew National 97% fat free beef frank

  2. 1 slice Jennie-O turkey bacon

  3. Oroweat Keto Bun

  4. 3tbsp Onion, diced

  5. 2tbsp Reduced sugar ketchup

  6. 1tbsp Best Foods light mayo

  7. 2tbsp Mustard

  8. 1 tbsp Relish (optional, not pictured)

  1. Finely chop up half an onion and heat on low in a skillet with a little bit of oil until carmelized

  2. Wrap one slice of bacon around each hot dog. In a separate skillet, cook hot dogs on medium heat until the bacon is crispy, turning occasionally

  3. Once the hot dogs are done cooking, place hot dog buns face down on skillet atop low heat until warm.

  4. Add toppings and enjoy!
