September marks month 1 of a 12 month Macrocycle designed to build muscle, burn fat, and improve your overall strength and conditioning. The name of the game is periodization. Through methodical 4 month mesocycles, I will slowly and systematically teach you new skills ranging from the barbell olympic lifts to the Turkish getup, improve your mile time, strengthen your compound movements, fine tune your overall movement proficiency, and so much more. Through periodization, I intend to turn you into a well oiled machine! Its a journey, and I trust that you'll enjoy every step along the way. In mesocycle one, we will focus on improving both your muscular endurance and your oxidative energy system. You can expect to perform high volume sets designed to elicit a gnarly burn in your target muscles, and run to the tune of blisteringly fast mile times! I will slowly incorporate new skills including the kettlebell snatch. By the end of mesocycle one, you can expect to be leaner, have a ton more endurance, and feel more durable! MESOCYCLE 1 GOALS: Improved mile time; kettlebell swing, c&J, and snatch mastery; improved 5 rep max squat, bench, and deadlift; improved max push ups, sit ups, and pulls in 1 minute
